HALLOWEEN

While Dylan was at school I took Rylee to the library for storytime. All the little tots dressed up in their costumes and listened to the story, except Rylee...

He went to the other room and played with the tractors. To him this is the ONLY reason we go to the library! He loves it there.

Then they all went trick or treating to the neighborhood houses and businesses. He didn't really catch on to the concept until later in the evening. He would get candy and then stay there and try to eat it. He didn't want to move on to get more.

Now it's evening time and we are ready to go!! Kirk and Dylan both got alot of kuddo's for their costumes. Everyone kept trying to guess who Kirk was supposed to be. He is the scary clown character from the SAW movies. We all worked together to make Dylan's mac and cheese costume. He looked YUMMY! Rylee loves, loves trains so we couldn't resist getting him a Thomas the Train costume. He proudly showed off his Choo-choo to everyone. And I dressed up like a MOM. I haven't dressed up in many many years. Maybe next time......hmmm.



After we came home and did all the candy counting Dylan thought it would be fun to paint his face with Kirk's leftover paint. Oh what a colorful shower he must have had!!

We had a great evening and Lots of fun. Dylan has now had the chance to go trick or treating the traditional way. Every other year we have gone trick or treating the Steamboat way which is to go down town and trick or treat at all of the downtown stores. He decided he likes it better this way. There are less crowds and compitition. Plus we also had the chance to go to a rest home down the street and they put together games and food and interacting with the residents. Kirk had the attention of this one elderly woman in particular. She was very interested in him :)
