The other house

So we now know what ended up happening with the other house. Pretty much things seem to have worked out the way it was supposed to for us in the long run. First of all, we were really unhappy to hear that they sold the house to someone for ALOT less than they were trying to scam us out of which was 335.000 or more. Why they couldn't have just handled things fairly and honestly is beyond me because they may actually could have made some money on the deal. It turns out they ended up selling it for 20,000 less then the 285,000 we were supposed to pay for it. And they had to pay us 15,000 that they wouldn't have had to if we bought the house for 285,000.

The good news for us is this: The whole entire house was flooded because the pipes all froze and now there is alot of work and money that has to be put into the house that we don't have to deal with. The person that bought it, bought it "as is" and at least we are happy to know that Palm Harbor Homes didn't make any profit and actually ended up losing ALOT of money all because they got greedy. And we no longer have to deal with them and are doing just fine with a home of our own that doesn't have broken pipes!

So if you know anyone who plans on using this company WARN THEM about who they are dealing with. I hate that for our first experience we were scammed for almost 3 years, but we will live and learn. I think that Palm Harbor Homes is a horrible company and I would love to hear one day of the whole company being shut down and everyone that had any hand in torturing and scamming us, ends up having to serve time or pay all of their "hard earned" money to people that they have done this to. GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

Well, at least you don't have to wonder "What if or I wish we had that house..." now you know that it ended working out for the best. It is too bad, though, that you guys had to go through that.

Rylee's 3!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYLEE!!! My little guy is 3 now. The plan was to try and take Rylee to the zoo for his day but that didn't work out for this weekend anyway. So his birthday happened to fall on a day that was being celebrated by the whole town for Hayden Daze and we went to that instead. They jumped in the inflatables and Dylan got his face painted. Rylee just did not have the patience to stand in line long enough to get his done. What can you expect? He's only 3 :) They played on the slip and slides and Dylan got to do some rock climbing We had planned to have a little party for Rylee with some friends. But since they couldn't make it we decided to just make it fun with just our family. First Balloons!! And boy, did they have fun :) Rolling around in them, trying to pop them by squishing them in a big hug and we cant leave out the big bellies and boobs! Then he opened his presents, played with them and we ate cake! After all that fun we finished the night off with a funny...

It's Our 11th Anniversary!!

Oh my, does time fly. It's pretty weird to think that we have been married for 11 years. I don't think we feel old enough for that much time to have gone by, but we will continue to grow old and wrinkly together forever! Happy Anniversary to US!! Kirk and Camilla on our wedding day.... No we didn't have a big fancy wedding but we were there together and with our family and friends and enjoyed ourselves, that's all that matters! Indoor Playground

Who needs to play outside when the playgound is right here in the house! We have a couple mattresses that used to be for Dylan's bunkbed that have apparently turned into a slide and trampoline. I'm thinking this looks like alot of fun and I have been tempted to try it out for myself, but I'm pretty sure I would look alot less graceful then they do :) Don't mind the multicolored walls.....we ran out of paint in the middle of the job.
