Kirk's Birthday & 4th of July

July 3, 2010....

Kirk's Birthday- We had a little birthday party with some friends and family for Kirk on his birthday. We had food, played pool, listened to music and enjoyed the company. Dylan and Rylee made a big "Happy Birthday" banner to hang up. Here is to another 33 years! Happy Birthday Kirk, we love you!






July 4, 2010....



It seemed like our plans for the 4th of July holiday were going to be ruined by all the rain we got but luckily we were still able to enjoy the day thanks to a little luck. We had plans to go with some friends to a BBQ at the Yampa River State Park campground where our friends parents are the campground hosts. They live there in their camp trailer that doesn't have much space. So when it started raining we thought all would be called off. But last minute they decided to move it to the covered picnic area that wasn't being used by anyone else. BBQ saved!! Later we had plans to go to Steamboat to watch the city's firework display which was supposed to be bigger than ever. We had no clue wether they would cancel it due to the weather but we decided to take a chance and drive there anyway. When we got there all of a sudden the skies started clearing up and the show was on!!! They had a great firework show and I'm glad we ended up going.

Rylee's 3!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYLEE!!! My little guy is 3 now. The plan was to try and take Rylee to the zoo for his day but that didn't work out for this weekend anyway. So his birthday happened to fall on a day that was being celebrated by the whole town for Hayden Daze and we went to that instead. They jumped in the inflatables and Dylan got his face painted. Rylee just did not have the patience to stand in line long enough to get his done. What can you expect? He's only 3 :) They played on the slip and slides and Dylan got to do some rock climbing We had planned to have a little party for Rylee with some friends. But since they couldn't make it we decided to just make it fun with just our family. First Balloons!! And boy, did they have fun :) Rolling around in them, trying to pop them by squishing them in a big hug and we cant leave out the big bellies and boobs! Then he opened his presents, played with them and we ate cake! After all that fun we finished the night off with a funny...

It's Our 11th Anniversary!!

Oh my, does time fly. It's pretty weird to think that we have been married for 11 years. I don't think we feel old enough for that much time to have gone by, but we will continue to grow old and wrinkly together forever! Happy Anniversary to US!! Kirk and Camilla on our wedding day.... No we didn't have a big fancy wedding but we were there together and with our family and friends and enjoyed ourselves, that's all that matters! Indoor Playground

Who needs to play outside when the playgound is right here in the house! We have a couple mattresses that used to be for Dylan's bunkbed that have apparently turned into a slide and trampoline. I'm thinking this looks like alot of fun and I have been tempted to try it out for myself, but I'm pretty sure I would look alot less graceful then they do :) Don't mind the multicolored walls.....we ran out of paint in the middle of the job.
