WALL FAMILY

Rylee's 4th Birthday was on July 18th, 2010. We had a party for him with his friends, family and an Elmo Pinata! I tried to make a dinosaur cake for Rylee in this cool pan I bought but when I tried to take it out, it fell apart. So I put it back in and patched it up with frosting and had Kirk draw a dinosaur on top. Maybe it will work next time. We got a pinata for the kids. It was the kind that you have to pull the strings til the pinata breaks. After it broke the kids decided to use it like a real pinata and filled it up with candy again and beat it up with a bat. There was also a balloon fight and balloon popping....holy cow what a mess!! But it was lots of fun. Rylee got a new bike for his birthday and he LOVES it! He wants to ride it ALL the time. Happy Birthday Rylee!! We all love you so much. We are so blessed to have you around and hope that as you continue to grow and get older that you will be happy. Happy Birthday to our 4 year old!!

July 3, 2010.... Kirk's Birthday- We had a little birthday party with some friends and family for Kirk on his birthday. We had food, played pool, listened to music and enjoyed the company. Dylan and Rylee made a big "Happy Birthday" banner to hang up. Here is to another 33 years! Happy Birthday Kirk, we love you! July 4, 2010.... It seemed like our plans for the 4th of July holiday were going to be ruined by all the rain we got but luckily we were still able to enjoy the day thanks to a little luck. We had plans to go with some friends to a BBQ at the Yampa River State Park campground where our friends parents are the campground hosts. They live there in their camp trailer that doesn't have much space. So when it started raining we thought all would be called off. But last minute they decided to move it to the covered picnic area that wasn't being used by anyone else. BBQ saved!! Later we had plans to go to Steamboat to watch the city's firework display which...

I'm not sure if this was at the end of May or beginning of June. There was a carnival at a neighboring town that I took the kids to for a couple of rides. Dylan on the giant swings, Rylee in the spinning dragon ride and Dylan trying to hit the bell for a prize... We were able to have some friends stay with us while on their vacation from Thailand. We are so glad we were able to see them. These are some great friends and we are lucky to know them! Pan, Keith and Angela Miller... Getting rid of the monster mosquito's!!! We have tons of mosquitos every year and the town has a plane fly over to spray for them because they get so bad. We were so excited to see this plane go over us for a little bit of relief from the blood sucking monsters! Rylee fell asleep one night on this chair. When I got home from work Kirk and I were talking. We must have been too loud because Rylee started stirring. He ended up in this position and stayed this way while still sleeping. Way too f...

In June we got to meet a great aunt of Kirks. He doesn't know many people in his extended family so he was excited to meet Shirley and her other half, Gary. They live in California and decided to travel to Colorado for some sight seeing and visiting. Kirk decided that he wanted to have Shirley as his grandma and she agreed :) We were so happy to meet them and had a great visit with them! Hopefully we will be able to see them again soon.
