Christmas Day!

Our Christmas was very nice and Very Exciting for the kids!! They both really enjoyed Christmas this year. Dylan got a few things that he has really been wanting....heelies, guitar hero, a gravity car and few other things! Rylee was in present heaven :) He loves opening presents and even helped me open mine. Kirk and I were all smiles watching them open their gifts. Jordan was really excited when she found out that she got one of the things she really wanted and we got to listen to her excitement over the phone. Hopefully we'll get some pictures of her Christmas soon! I'm really glad that I have such a great family to share all these wonderful moments with! Rylee loved this mug I had made just for him! It is full of pictures of construction vehicles and tractors. He also loved the tractors and trains that he got and played with them ALL day. YES! This is Kirk smiling while a camera is pointed towards him, and he even knew it! Don't ask me why, but I caught Rusty licking...

Christmas Eve 2009

It was another year to see Santa and the Roving Christmas Tree on Christmas eve. Rylee was SO excited this year. I thought he would be shy and hide behind me like he usually does to people, but he went right to Santa to say hi. Here the boys are waiting patiently. It was SO COLD our nose holes froze, 4 degrees.... He FINALLY came!! Santa hands out gifts for the little ones in Hayden. BYE-BYE santa and your Roving Tree! It is very cool to see this trailer full of lights and decoration driving around in the dark. The boys each got a bag of goodies and of course dug right in!

December 2009

I've decided to add a collection of photos of the things we have been up to in December since I haven't been very good at posting lately. Kirk and I went to a Toys for Tots bowling fundraiser. We enjoyed a night away and won a couple prizes too. This roll got Kirk a signed hockey puck... And this one is just plain funny :) Those lanes are slick! I decided to get the kids and I a flu shot and we also ended up getting the H1N1 flu shot. This is what happened to Dylan's arm with his, I'm not sure which shot it was that did this cause they got one in each arm. This is my Rylee looking like a little Elfin :) Some fun in the snow! Snow Angel Putting the boys to work! Our Christmas Tree And again in the dark....The kids had to sleep by it the first night we had it up. And Dylan does what I remember doing when I was little, squinting at the lights to make them bigger! This WAS the Christmas card that I was going to send out. I made it myself with my limited resources and money ...

Thanksgiving Day 2009

We had a nice and relaxing Thanksgiving this year. There was, of course, lots of cooking going on. But after that was done we just enjoyed the company, talked alot, played some pool and video games and ate lots of food! The leftovers....No time to take a picture of the finished product! Shane and Dylan playing the playstation after we ate... Rylee enjoying a piece of cake while I sneak in for a picture.... Kirk and Gary playing a game of pool, one of many.... Teri the tickle monster, attacking Rylee :) .... We hope that all of our friends and family also enjoyed thier Thanksgiving Day. We are thankful for each and every one of you!

Dylan's Birthday and Party

It's Official! Dylan is a decade old!! This time passed really, really fast. I love seeing my kids grow but also get a little sad that the younger days have passed. Dylan's birthday is so close to Thanksgiving that we always have to figure out the best time to have a party for him. On his actual day it was a small celebration...Lunch at school with the family, dinner of his choice, a friend over, cake and ice cream and presents! Then the next Saturday he had his birthday party. He wanted to have it at the local pizza restaurant that has an arcade and pool table. It almost didn't work out though. We had the room reserved but for some reason they had decided not to open for the whole Thanksgiving week and didn't call and let us know. So the day of, I happened to be driving by about an hour before his party was supposed to take place, I noticed that it was closed and a sign on the door saying they wouldn't be open until Monday. I called a couple of friends un...
