Pearly Whites

Yesterday was dentist appointment day. I am very happy that both the boys came away with NO CAVITIES! This was Rylee's first dentist visit and he did a GREAT job! He thought it was pretty cool to have the polisher tickle his teeth and he got to wear the fun sunglasses too. So far Dylan's track record has been a good one. No cavities yet. I sure hope that continues. Look at those nice white teeth!

Chopped!

Dylan wanted long hair and was trying to grow his hair out but decided it was giving him headaches and gave up. I liked it especially when he had wet hair, it actually had a little curl to it on the ends like it used to when he was a baby. This is how long it grew... Look at all that hair on the ground... Now that is how I am used to seeing my Dylan! And he hasn't had a headache all day :)

Father's Day Picnic in the Garage

Father's Day didn't quite turn out the way we hoped. First we had planned on going up the mountain and having a picnic. Well.....it rained off and on ALL DAY. So during one of the breaks in the storm we build a fire in our little fire pit and decided to roast hot dogs outside. Kirk built the fire we stuck the hot dogs over the fire and this is what happened A fast moving thunderstorm....AGAIN! So we grabbed our hotdogs and moved it for a picnic in the garage :) HAPPY FATHERS DAY KIRK! And to all the other dad's out there that I know!

Lightning Strike

This video was taken from my back window. And boy am I glad I wasn't outside to get this one. It is one scary and beautiful strike! Here is an image from the video stilled so you can see it better.

Birds

I've been cleaning and painting at my friends house for awhile and there is a nest up in the roof over the porch. These are some cute little baby robins with their mom and they are hungry!

Swim lessons and cool sculptures

Dylan had his swim lessons today along with a group of kids from his school. I ended up driving the kids there in the bus so Rylee and I got to tag along. Dylan is really enjoying swimming...and really, what kid doesn't love to swim. Here is Dylan learning to swim on his back and jumping off the diving board. While we waited for the kids, Rylee and I took a walk around the park. It's a pretty neat park, full of log sculptures. They are made from trees that grew in the park (or placed into the ground, but I don't think so) then looked like they were cut down but left enough for people to create these sculptures. There were ALOT more than these but these were my favorites. After checking out the sculptures we walked over to an old train car to show Rylee. He LOVES trains. It would have been even better if we could have gone inside but it was locked up tight. There was a small river along the whole park that Rylee couldn't resist throwing rocks into and at the...
