My Haircut

Here is the before pic And the after pic's And here is the hair that I'm donating to Locks of Love which is why I decided to go so short. Ok, it's short for ME :) I'm still getting used to it, but I've decided I do like my haircut. Not bad for a 10$ Beauty College cut huh!

To camp or not to camp...

We decided to go camping but mother nature had something else in mind, at least for a little while. We got all packed up and climbed in the truck, headed to get some gas and ice and.... Yes we got a nice downpour. Not just a normal rain...a pounding, flooding rain all over all of our stuff. So we had to rush home to cover up everything in the back of the truck as it CONTINUED! Everything was wet and since it was sunny and warm when we left we didn't cover anything. All of our blankets and some of our clothing was soaked. Luckily we had more...switched them out and after a good hour of sunshine we decided to try again, this time more prepared. We took the big tarps, some rope and camp dry spray for the tent. Plus threw everything in big garbage bags for the trip. It did rain more but we had this very handy cover to keep us dry! Dylan spent almost the whole day trying to perfect the art of building a camp fire with just a flint. He doesn't give up, I'll give him that :) Rylee...

Some more pictures of our visit with Jordan

Kirk's reaction when he realized it was Jordan, not Amanda we were picking up. Shocked and didn't know what to do for a minute. No he is not upset! All of us trying to get a family shot and we couldn't do it without a goofy pic too! Jordan on the bungee Dylan on the bungee Rylee looking like an angel while shopping...haha! The kids got into the kool-aid and this is what we found. Yes...it stained! Picking up Jordan and had to kill time at Walmart

Finally, finally we get to see Jordan!

We pulled off a pretty big surprise for Kirk and it was fun! I have been telling Kirk that we were picking up Amanda at the airport in Denver because she was coming for a visit. Well....it wasn't Amanda we picked up, it was Jordan!! And Kirk had no clue. Up until she put her hands over his eyes and almost a full 10 seconds later he finally realized who she was. Kirk was in a mix of shock and happiness because he hadn't seen her in quite awhile and really didn't expect to see her at that moment. I think most people knew this was happening which made it even more amazing that we pulled it off! The three kiddo's together again We spent the night at a friends house in Evergreen, CO. This is a georgous place with good friends to visit. Could you imagine this as your yard? It's like camping every day! While we were there we visited Tiny Town, CO. This is the cutest and most fun place for kids. Rylee was in heaven here! You should click this link to find out more about th...

Picnic in the mountains

We decided to have a picnic in the mountains yesterday. There was no rain, lots of sunshine and WHY NOT?! It was a nice, relaxing day. We didnt do much. Cooked some food, shot the BB gun, went for walks, played with the dog and alot of sitting around talking. Dylan shooting the BB gun Rylee's cheesy grin when I told him to show me his big blue eyes Some cool see through leaves and our view behind them All of us....Rylee wandering of course :) Chasing the dog and laughing it up!

Little Dancer

Just thought this was cute....We were watching Step It Up 2: The Streets, cool movie if you like to watch some crazy dance moves. Rylee was watching and then trying to copy some of their moves. It was cute...I didn't get his best moves because everytime I started the video he would get shy and stop, but here is an idea of the show we got.

Rylee's 3!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYLEE!!! My little guy is 3 now. The plan was to try and take Rylee to the zoo for his day but that didn't work out for this weekend anyway. So his birthday happened to fall on a day that was being celebrated by the whole town for Hayden Daze and we went to that instead. They jumped in the inflatables and Dylan got his face painted. Rylee just did not have the patience to stand in line long enough to get his done. What can you expect? He's only 3 :) They played on the slip and slides and Dylan got to do some rock climbing We had planned to have a little party for Rylee with some friends. But since they couldn't make it we decided to just make it fun with just our family. First Balloons!! And boy, did they have fun :) Rolling around in them, trying to pop them by squishing them in a big hug and we cant leave out the big bellies and boobs! Then he opened his presents, played with them and we ate cake! After all that fun we finished the night off with a funny...
