Learning the Mail Route

A girl I work with at the school also does the mail Route here in Hayden. She needs some help once in awhile so she can take some time off so I told her I could do it. So on Friday we packed up the kids, the mail, and lots of snacks and activities for the kids and spent the day driving EVERYWHERE. Most of the road looked like this....Such a lonely road :) This is Sharon. We had a good time and we laughed alot! We had a lot of time to chat and get to know eachother on those long lonely roads. Here are the kids being oh so patient. They hung out in the back seat for 5 hours. They had their snacks, watched video's and listened to music on the ipod, and listened to our stories which I'm sure bored them to death.

Warm Weather

Ok, so I'm sure this will bore you to death but I'm just going to keep on postin! We had a really warm (yes warm for US) weekend so we decided to take advantage of it. We took all of our vehicles to my work and washed them, although now we see it was a waste of time since its a blizzard outside today. But we also got to play some baseball and soccer with the kids and they had such a fun time. It was good to finally get outside to do some stuff and not be wet or frozen!

Rylee's Big boy Bed

Rylee is finally using a big boy bed and he loves it! It's a little harder on us because it was nice to not have to keep putting him back in bed when he didn't feel like being there. He wakes up WAY too early these days and his naps are WAY too short. But It is fun to watch him so excited about sleeping in a regular bed. The Crib The big boy bed Dylan was trying to teach Rylee his abc's by using his face as paper.....Dont worry it's washable body crayon!

My New Project

These are my new project. I have been spending alot of my free time making these heat packs to sell for a little extra cash and I'm having fun doing it. These are the greatest things, if you've ever used them you know :) If you would like one let me know. I'm selling for 11.95 and 4.95 shipping.

All about Dylan :)

Here is a link for the coloring contest that Dylan won for his school and what it was for. http://www.steamboat.com/newsviewer.aspx?id=461 He also had his name in the newspaper for winning. It says: "CONTRATS TO WALL--Congratulations to Dylan Wall, who was the first-prize winner for Hayden Valley Elementary School in the 2008-2009 Rider Safety Coloring Contest for Steamboat Ski and Resort Corp. Way to go, Dylan." It made him feel pretty good to have his name in the paper and on Steamboat's official website. Dylan has spent alot of time lately building things with his legos and decided he wanted to keep pictures of some of them since Rylee "Breaks Everything". And....although Dylan likes to pretend that he doesn't like his dog, I think he's full of it. Dylan decided that he has to have Rusty in his room at night now cause he doesn't want to be alone.

Dylan's a winner!

Dylan entered a Coloring contest for skier safety. He is the 1st Prize Winner for Hayden Valley Elementary School in the 2008/2009 Skier and Rider Safety Coloring Contest for the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation. To make it even more exciting for him is he won $50.00. He was so proud of himself and we were proud of him too. Now they will take the First prize winner from each school and pick one to be put onto a poster to use at the Ski areas. That person will also have their picture put into a national ski magazine. They chose the winners not only by the drawing ability but their creativity and uniqueness in the message. This is a copy of his picture so it cut off the message it says "No dropping In"

Just some Old and Random Pics for your enjoyment!
